07 4Runner 18" wheels - will BFG 265/65/r18 fit?
Hey there, I have an 07 v8 4wd LTD with the 18" wheels. The stock tire size is P265/60/R18 but BFG doesn't make that size.
Will BFG's AT in P265/65/R18 fit without any other mods?
MANY THANKS!!

I would think they will fit with no problem.
Tire sizes are expressed in the format WWW/AA/XDD. WWW is the tire’s section width, measured in millimeters. AA is the aspect ratio or profile of the tire, which expresses the tire’s height as a percentage of its width. X is a letter indicating the tire’s internal construction. DD is the diameter in inches of the wheel that the tire is intended to be mounted on.
So some quick math, your old tires are 265*0.6 = 159 mm tall sidewall, the new ones are 265 * 0.65 = 172, a very minor increase.
18 inches is 457 mm + 2 * 159 = 775 mm = 30.5 inch tall
18 inches is 457 mm + 2 * 172 = 801 mm = 31.5 inch tall
Wish I could afford an 07 LTD, guess I probably could if I didn't have such a modding addiction on my 94.

Thanks, Jeremy - I appreciate the info. I do know the difference in size as being about a half-inch in height and about 3 inches in circumfrence - not that much but I'd like to be sure before I do the switch.
Also - I'm wondering if the spare will fit - it seems pretty tight down there.
As far as "Being able to afford" an 07 LTD - You CAN - believe me, you just need to be totally Toyota-fied like me!!
