okay, i understand what you mean. i need to get that line on there soon then your right. probably in a couple days ill take a picture of the hose going on there.

since it is plastic, do you think i should spraypaint a protective layer like rubberized spraypaint on there? would that help as an insilator as well?

I don't think you need to paint it. Remember the factory stuff was all plastic as well. Probably a different grade, but much thinner than what you ended up using.

I just wrapped mine as I pulled the intake when installing my headers and just figured... why not. There is now way even a fully insulated intake could have the ability to reduce the incoming air temp anyway. You'd have to actually cool the intake to see any noticeable temp changes.

Couple pics of it actualy done.

Looks good Infiltrator. Glad it worked out for ya. Just curious, you notice any difference cause I sure as hell didn't.

i dont really notice a difference but i see with yours where that 2nd hose goes. did you remove the box down there?

Ya I took it out. Otherwise I don't really see any point in this whole mod anyway. Getting to remove something from the engine bay is about the only benefit of this.

Hey neoworm, where did you get that pipe? Looks nicer then my abs one. I also noticed no change in performance or sound, very disapointing.

Mopac just off 200 in Langley. Company that makes it is called "Vibrant Performance" I think it was $30.
