U Joints for dummies!
I have to do the U joints on the rear drive shaft of my 89, and it has the clips on the inside of the joint. I have never done this type before, and would be happy to have any hints on how to do them.
Thanks for your time.

take the clips out...remove u-joint..put in new u-joint..then put in new clips..or reuse old ones if new ones aren't supplied..
check the FSM or a chilton's manual for pics and better descriptions..LOL im too lazy to type anymore..

Same as any other u-joint, remove clips, pound out. Press in new joint, smack the end cap retainers on the shaft to help seat the cap, make sure she moves smooth in all directions, install and pump full of grease.
Done! Hardest part will probibly be getting the old rusty u-joint out.

Take it to a shop, the shop around here will press out an old one and press in a new one for like $8.00. They do it all the time, did it while I was standing there, and will check to ensure the yolk is within spec.
Well worth my $8

I used flathead screwdrivers IIRC. Its not like its that hard of a job, good thing to know how to do. Easy stuff with a vice.
Heck I dont even have a workbend, have to stand on my vice to keep it from moving
