Trail changing CV shafts
So I am about to change the shafts on my truck and I want to make it as easy as possible to change on the trail or later. What do the hard core guys do to make this job easy on the trail (SAS of course but what if....)?
My sway bar is gone. I am going to knock out all the studs on the flange and use bolts. Anything else?

the stud to bolt change is about all you can do I think
I think I've heard it's possible to change them out in a bind just by pulling the hub off, removing the center bolt with the big washer, then removing the 6 diff-flange mounting bolts, and you can work them out with having the steering to full lock one way or the other, but I've never tried
aside from that, the next easiest step requires taking the 4 bolts out of the lower ball joint to swing the spindle assymbely out some

Pound the studs out and drill the splines out of the hole. Then you can simply pull the bolts out and drop the joint, you dont have to pull it to clear the studs..
