You need an allen key to get it out...Don't rightly remember the size.

AH!! Thanks lumpy I do appreciate it. Sadly, I have to go to work so I can't work on the engine until Tomorrow

Bleeder- I read through your thread lots, so Thank you . That power cord, actually cordS, are for the block and oil pan heaters. I will probably take them off eventually. If at all possible, I do not want to take the block heater out, but the oil pan heater is just a pad that is put on with silicone.

ah okay, I see; I would be dumb to that, as there's no real use for a block heater system here in Florida

Not a problem...I'd hate to see ya beak something when it can be avoided.

Want to talk about luck? The only Allen wrench I could find was a perfect match for that bolt

Also, I want your opinions. I'm planning on selling this head. Should I remove the exhaust manifold or keep it on? I going to get a header so I don't need it.
Also also, do I NEED to have the engine at TDC on the first piston to remove the head? This engine is seized I think and won't budge.

Well, the engine is NOT seized, thank god. The clutch housing is rubbing against the engine stand it looks like the lower brackets are bent. Three of them were also loose.

Nice...put it down, take it off, and start again.
