sprung door hinge
1994 pickup.
The Other day, we had horrific wind, and the drivers door got away from me.
It busted the limiter, no big deal to replace that.
I do have to take the door off to spring the hinges back square again.. Should be a simple 'barring action' to fix...but noticed the goop that seals the hinge to the cab opening is cracked and pulled away.
Is that 'goop' a glue? or just a sealant to keep crud from settling in behind?
If it's a glue, what's the stuff to use these days?
