Rim offset

Rim offset
Hi
I got new 16" rims for my 1995 pickup 4x4. They have zero off set and my stock rims have 1" positive offset. This means the new rims will stick out 1" more. I think the tires will not stick out past the fenders so I should be ok there. But I was wondering if the new offset will affect suspension or anything.
Thanks.

Not particularly, 1" offset isn't a huge change.
Super deep offsets make for big scrub radius's (tire drags forward and back when you steer more than rotating) and kill wheel bearings and balljoints.
