oil leak from hell

I am guessing from your vague post it is your front crakshaft oil seal, however that is only a shot in the dark. There are so many other things it could be in that general area like timing cover, oil pan, but that is assuming it is for a 22R motor. See we could go on for days on this...
If you ask for help, you need to give us all the information needed to help you. Like what engine, etc. We can't read your mind

sorry i was just really pissed at it and had to run to hurry for work. yes its the front main seal where the crank pully is at. the motor is a 22re from a 1989 toyota pickup. the leak is pretty bad, the leak sprays back while the engines running and drips out pretty bad when its off.

did you replace the seal / o ring between the oil pump and timing cover? i had replaced the pump seal and installed a sleeve on a 82 22r, and it was the problem all along.

You probably need a repair sleeve . The crankshaft repair sleeve covers the groove worn by a full circle front main seal , buy a crank shaft repair sleeve from any parts store .It should have a steel sleeve and adhesive with it . It better to clean the bottom onf the engine with degreaser then , crank it up and look.

yeah the seal between the oil pump and the timing cover is fine, i just got a new gasket for it and even rtv-ed it. and theres a new sleeve on the crank pully so that shouldnt be a problem.

Is the sleeve on crooked? Did you use a new seal and grease the lip before installing the pulley?
Have you checked your PCV valve? If crankcase pressure isn't being released, oil will leak out through the weakest point, which could be the front seal.

yeah, i greased up the lip and im pretty sure its strait.. i leveled it with a strait edge. and the pcv valve is a month old so im sure thats still good, and the oil presure gauge goes up about half way cold while movin, quarter way cold at idle, nowhere warm idle and almost quarter way warm movin. i think that engine is just screwed.
