o2 senser

How do you know if its bad what are the symptoms. What is it and what does it work. do please explain because i havn't been getting as good of fuel millage around town. Thanks Clint

typically if it goes bad it will send a trouble code and you will have a check engine light. I think you can test it with an ohm meter to see if its within spec, not sure what the reading should be, try searching i'm sure its all over

Not necessarily - only when it gets REALLY bad.

My rear o2 Sensor (one behind the cat) went and I got a CEL, but before the light i noticed that she wouldn't accelerate as well as she normally did and yeah, gas mileage dropped to like 10-12 miles in the city and 15-16 mile on the highway...
