Need help asap with EGR vacuum solenoid/transducer/moduler....(depending on what you call it)

I have an 87 4runner 2.4--- 22rtec--Turbo motor---

I am trying to find the EGR VACUUM SOLENOID. Toyota does not make the part for my yr/motor any longer. Does anyone know if I can use the standard 22r EGR Vac. Sol. for my motor? I can not get the part anywhere unless I use the one for the non turbo motor.

Toyota has no idea if it is interchangable...I had a mechanic test this part and he said its bad. I believe this is the last part I need to smog my runner. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.
