Im south of Joplin, and prices run about the same here. Some are way over priced, and selection isnt great.

If the frame isnt fixable, doing a body swap isnt hard. $600 was still a good deal for this part of the country.

x2 hahaha thats awesome man, great deals on both of those. These older 4x4 Yotas are overly priced here in North East Arkansas too. But there is a guy down the road that wants $1100 for his 91 4x4 pickup!

Yeah that Honda was junk. I've check the title and it also said 1980, what makes you think it's a 82???

My plans are to sand blast the frame and clean up everything then rhino line the frame. I'm going to run all new wires and tuck everything so nothing will get missed up when I go out on the trails. I might buy a tool box that fits in the bed and put my fuel cell inside of it so I don't tear a hole in it and be one less thing to worry about.

so i measured 3inch from where the tail light bolts to the bed. i made two marks at the top of where the tail light bolts to and the bottom of the tail light. then i used a square and a torpedo lever to make sure the line was perfectly straight.
where the bend of the bed that meets to the tailgate to my line is 5 inchs.
make sure you measure 4 5 8 10 times before you make that first cut cause there no going back.

this is what it should look like after the first cut

next is inside the bed, you can measure from your cut marks that you made or just measure 5inchs in. also use a square to make sure the line is stright.

then when its all cut it should look like this

next measure 14inchs or how ever short you want to make it just remember your putting back 5inchs so its really going to be 9inchs but just repeat step one and it should come out looking like this
