manifold bolt
today i welded up a huge exhaust leak where my muffler was connected to the rest of the exhaust sounds much better now but makes a manifold leak i have so much more obvious and annoying than it was before. I was looking for the leak and found i was missing the bottom rear manifold bolt, its possible i may have lost a exhaust bolt when i rebuilt the motor or maybe missed it torquing down the manifold and it vibrated out. anyway what size and thread pitch is the bolt so i can replace it.

I think its 10mm x 1.25, I know when mine got loose in my 89 22re I tapped a 7/16 in there and a new stud. What happens is when they get loose the aluminum threads in the head get bad. You could try a 10mm x 1.50 which is a little more coarse than 1.25. The reason I went to 7/16 was the next size up in metric was too big for the header hole.Hope that helps.
