87LVRunner......looks freaking sweet! Did you make that one yourself?
I'm looking for a cheap, no frills plate style front bumper. I only need turn signal lights and one recovery attachment point? Is it possible to find something like that for under $400 or am I being too stingy? I got hit in a parking lot today, so it's time to upgrade.

Also a perfect place to put a little plate and run some other custom blinkers, LEDS, or sorts. Looks good like this though, unlike others where they sit all cockeyed and diagonal.

I have been tossing around deleting the old blinkers, re-running the wiring to the marker lights and using those as my turn signals. I have not driven her because nothing is hooked up yet. I just got it on and ran out of time. I see most people use zip ties, but I want to do something different. I may also mount up some Hella's on there as well. That, and I really would like to get a winch mounted up.

I think the blinkers look out of place when there mounted to the bumper like that.
I would rewire the marker lights to be turn signals. I saw a thread on that somewhere on here or pirate. Can't remember I know they used 1157 bulbs and drilled new holes in the marker light housing.

I looked and looked at bumpers for my '86, I finally settled on the AOR for price, looks, and function. Plus he's local and I do everything I can to support local business. I took a short (15min) trip to AOR to meet Scotty and he is a great guy, down to earth, real. He's getting my money for the next series of mods on my truck 100%!

I'm personally a fan of plate style bumpers over tube ones, so I'd be a little biased but I looked through all of those photos in this thread and the linked one and I have to say that the Fat Mouse front bumper is still my favourite (which wasn't posted or linked in this thread I believe).

I just recieved my front bumper from ScottyC from Addicted offroad and i must say. He is a great person to deal with. If you have any questions about his stuff check out his website (Addictedoffroad.com)or PM him here (ScottyC). His bumper looks great feels light and is indeed stout. You can even get a re-enforcement plate for the front end of your frame for heavy winching. And like someone mentioned before, supporting our fellow Yotatech peeps is always a good thing...

I've had my AOR bumper for a while now and I'm super pleased. Haven't gotten to pull off it or hit any trees or anything, but it's STOUT!
I made my own re-enforcement before I got the bumper, Colorado Metal cut me a piece that fit 99% in the front and then just some C-Channel for the tops, grade 8 bolts completed it:
Here's before paint:
After flat black primer with the blinkers just where they were before the bumper:
And a not so great picture of where the blinkers are now:

ok..im still wantin the Badland bumpers Basher Tube front for the runner..and im pretty deadset on getting it..but its freakin PRICEY..at over $600 to my front door..yea..lol(im a poooorrr college kid..lmao) i already know that the Badland's bumper is STRONG (check out his website for pics of a front end flop)
i need a STOUT bumper..i have yet to see any testimonies like the badlands bumpers..of course i know the ARB and Warn bumpers are strong..
and i know that almost all the tube style bumpers are almost all made out of the same size tubing..which obviously means they are all going to be close in strength..but i want some real life accidents (hitting other cars..surviving a flop..hittin a wild animal..lol)..
i would much rather buy Scotty's bumper because it looks great and the price is kinda nice
i also need to mount some 9" HID's on the bumper i choose
