I finally got around to working on replacing the knock sensor wire in the valley of the block. Going in, the only thing we think we broke was the "VALVE, BIMETAL VACUUM SWITCHING" which sucks, as its $50. Oh well, supposedly you can replace it when the plenum is on, but even so, I could just fold the plenum over to the pass. side and keep on working. Long story short, we've managed to lose one of the bolts that secures the intake manifold to the block. D'oh! Does anyone think we could replace it with a H/w store bolt or just move along without? May be a silly question, I'm just really nervous about how far I've disabled my car

Just go get a replacement. Getting to hardware shopping is half the fun.

Definitely don't leave the hole empty. That's weak.

Yup. We've stopped and just begun the attempt of replacing the timing belt. 120k on the current one, its time anyway. We had the tensioner off to get the intake manny off. My father did the last two belts without removing the rad or using a spider puller, so :thats funny:
