Inclinemeter..questions

Thinking about picking one up but i have a couple questions and search didnt help.. Found thread with inclineometer installed but its on a daspad and im not sure if its in the correct place on the dash..Toyota apparently made these for around years 84-89..years could be off but best info I have..I have 95 Yota 4x4..All the inclineometer i look at seem to have what appears to be 2 bolts coming from under the unit and looks like it bolts to the dashboard, guess couple of holes would have to be made..Only flat spot i see on my dash is the little flat area in front of the passengers area..Where were these origionally place on the dash? in the middle? passengers side of dash? All seem to have 2 wires coming from them.. Every person ive talked to said they had no idea where the wires went....Im guessing ones a power supply and ones a ground? Any pictures of anyone with them mounted in and specifically a 95 would be great....Thanx....G

Spelling correctly go to an advanced search, search titles only, type in Inclinometer, hit enter and you will find out everything you need to know.

I don't understand your questions right now, but I do have a factory installed inclinometer and if you want me to sent you pics of how it is mounted and hooked up let me know.

I honestly don't see it working on a 95 without it looking horrible or doing some major customizing. I have a 91 and was looking to do the same, I have no wiring for it and the dash has no available area that it would mount to but I wish It would work I love the way they look and it's an awesome extra gadget.

Thanx for replies and I did spell it correctly when searching but still didnt find answer I was looking for..sometimes when you type fast you might hit an e instead an o but thanx for pointing that out , i will slow down my typing...and yes thats the main question ..where to mount it as there doesnt seem to be a good place that fits and looks right..dont want to spend couple hundred bucks for something that doesnt fit the dash or looks out of place...

Wiring just lights it up with dash lights and does nothing to make it function.

It will look gay on a 2nd gen dash.

I think they look gay on 1st gen dashes and they are pretty useless.

The inclinometers for the 84-88 trucks 84-89 4Runners are made for the contour of the dash. If you put an angle finder on the dash of these trucks (with the truck level side to side and front to back) it measures out at about a 10 degree angle. If you are unable to get this angle on the newer dash...reguardless of how it looks, it won't be accurate anyway!
I like them and think they look good, but my truck and 4Runner are both 86's.
