Huh??? I wasn't sure that gasoline under $4 still existed.... It's been over $4/gallon for over a month here it seems like. The very cheapest-er, umm, least expensive I saw today, and for weeks was $4.39/gallon. The most I've seen so far is $5.72/gallon in Branscomb, CA 95417. So if for some strange reason you think you may find yourself in that neck of the woods, you may want to consider bringing some extra gas with you, or topping it off elsewhere.

I put 14 gallons in my 4Runner two days ago, and it cost me over $62. Diesel has been right around $5 for about a month also.

So here's my little drawing of the my meeting with the OPEC leader...... I'm the yellow one, and he's the green one.

I hate to say, but it ain't OPEC brotha, they're upping production. It's a speculative bubble most likely, speculators want to see how much the market can sustain before the price bubble pops.

That's true. But the good thing with bubbles is that they burst. Kinda like the housing/job markets did last year....so I guess it's a double edged sword.

So what's the complaint??? So you are whining about paying what we in Canada consider an absolute steal. We pay $5.70 a gallon. We're also more spread out compared to you. My weekend fishing trips are usually farther away than crossing a couple states.

Fuel tips are aplenty on this site, so search. I'm getting 26mpg on the highway.

I filled up with regular grade on Saturday, and paid $3.97/gallon. Listened to the engine ping ping ping on the highway yesterday.

If this is a bubble I dont think it can burst as did the housing market because people can always stop buying a house and remain where they are for an extented period of time. Fuel, however, is more of a necessity. I, for one, cannot just stop driving. Hell, i cant even consider public transportation.

Paid 3.95 btw

I'm complaining.....I admit. Sure we're paying less than CA's. But, to ask why we're complaining is like saying we have it good because we only have one foot on fire while you have a whole leg. It still f'n hurts, guys. We're all getting screwed no matter who's paying more or less. It's just complete robbery/extorsion/bullshcnit. That's the real reason I'm complaining. It'd be different if there was an actual good reason other than somebody just wanting to see how much more money they can squeeze out of the working class. King's and servants....blah.

This whole bubble is going to burst at some point or another and in one way or another. You can't pull one domino and not expect it to affect any others.....or even come back around.
