lol... I'm glad you guys understand...

I looked a little closer the last time I saw my truck. The sunroof is shattered (still in one piece mind you). I couldn't tell it was broken from the outside. The part between the windshield and sunroof is dented in a little bit and you can tell the rear part of the roof is a little dented in, hardly noticeable though...

All in all... Still very little damage considering what happened...

This was 9 days ago.

I have no neck or back pain.

Still no bruises (go figure )

I'll get pics in a few days...

Great thread!

Just out of curiosity do you know for sure the engine is toast? You don't really give much detail there. Were you sitting on the roof with the engine running until it seized?

When I went in I was doing close to the same speed, did a 180 ass end into the ditch and when I reached the bottom it rolled on to the passenger side (taco'd the door). Many people stopped, called a tow truck, nobody thought it was going to drive again (except me). The tow driver hooked it up and was going to impound it so I pleaded with him to let me go. Turns out he just didn't think I could pay him, so pay him every things cool. He told me when the engine goes upside down oil will seep into the pistons and if you try to start it you can do all kinds of damage because of the oil taking up room in the chamber. Lends me some tools, pull all the plugs out, turn it over a bunch, he says looks O.K.. Put the plugs back in drive away.

I know things seem bad when stuff goes down but it wouldn't hurt to take a second look at what you've got before you go swapping engines. Perhaps there is something that can still be done with what you've got.

Just a thought

Cheers
