since the floor isnt flush with the bottom because the floor of the truck is not even i will be able to put the brackets under it. Im going to drill a hole and JBWeld a nut on the bottom of the brackets. Then screw them to the
floor, drill 4 holes in the bottom of the console and bolt it down.

Cool, and btw... you're apologizing to whom... ME? hahahaha! My metal fab tools= A solder gun, hammer, benzomatic torch and ....Uhmmmmm Glue? hahaha. Yeah, not really my thing, but I'm impressed with your ingenuity! I'm retopping mine right now! Got some Pleather(really good stuff) at Joann's and some High Density Foam and I'ma make that Arm rest PRACTICAL/USEFUL for the first time I've owned it since I bought it! I'm not really tall, but tall enough I guess in the upper body that my arm doesn't rest on that arm rest without leaning to the right, hahaha. I'll post pics, but I decided to keep it stock... Mines always had plenty of room for my stuff in it. But I DO like this one, and also the Ammo Boxes... HOORAH! lol. Those lock, really theft-proof.... I just couldn't get myself to tear out the old stock bugger, lol. It's an SR5, so at least it's a LIL better than some I've seen with just one small reservoir.

Anyway, anxious to see your sick ride get SICKER! hahaha.

Did i have it in the wrong section

And Chef yeah those ammo boxes are pretty cool. I thought about one of those but just never ended up getting one. And yeah my fab equipment equals a vice, benzomatic, hammer, drills SAWZALL. Thats about it. I wasn't really apologizing. Just figured someone with all the matal equipment would look at those and
And yeah im defiantly not the tallest person either. But i made it tall enough. and then with a little padding on it, it ought to be about right.

Trust me.... He(GI Junk) knows Carpentry work... Check out his bumper! hehe... Love the improv, GI! Seriously... for your application, it WORKS, WHY KNOCK IT?!?!?!(No pun intended visa vi "knock on wood", lol)

PS> x20^^^ Really nice work, man! Thought about it... decided to leave her stock as much as possible. But yes, especially since you switched interior set up, why waste 100 at some Junk Yard, eh? lol. Yeah....btw, what did it cost you, total? Always cool to know that... 10$?

PSS> I was thinking of one of those refrigerated Consoles with 4 outlets online or Pep Boys, with locking lids, etc.... but they're all too wide, lol. One was just a LIL too wide and was on sale for 59$! lol... Dagnabit, if only I had Scion Seats like Scuba! lol

I had all the wood laying around and all i had to buy was some wood filler and sand paper. So all i have spent is about $15.Yeah a refridgerated one would be awesome. I had to make it thinner in the back because the tranny hump is smaller so that was also a problem with buying one.

Thanks GI! I had been wanting to have one and just decided to start building one one day. Hardest part was the amount of sanding. I went through about 20 sheets of 60 grit paper on the electric sander.

They are on the tranny hump between the seats, from looking at the pics of your console they would be in the middle of the compartment and should work if your truck has them.
