Bringing back 4WD letters on mudflaps
my flaps are in perfect shape but my letters are gone. How should i go about bringing them back? mark the letters out with tape and hit it with some spray paint? cut out some vinyl?

I picked up some mudflaps for my 3rd gen 4runner from a first gen runner/pickup which had the raised Toyota. I taped around the letters shot it with some good primer, colour matched paint and then some clear coat. It has been on for about 2 years now and it is still holding up with no issues.

Keep in mind that in a lot of states/provinces, mud flaps are a legal requirement and running without them might get you a fine.
They also keep you from peppering your paint with rocks and hastening the rust problem that we know our trucks are famous for.

^ yeah I was gonna say I think you can get a fix it ticket if you don't have them at least on the rear in CA. Well I guess it depends on how much of an a'hole the person pulling you over for it is. I've got my fronts removed since they are so close to the tire they catch when reversing, but I kept the rears and just bent the bracket for a little bit more clearance.
For the lettering, I'd just spray paint them.
