Body Lift Help
Alright fellas, im about to put a 3 to 4 inch body lift on my 1994 toyota pickup, Ive already got a 4 inch suspension lift, but im about to put 5.29 gearing in it and run some bigger tires.
I just need to know what im getting myself into, and if i should have someone do it for me...
Im mechanically inclined, but ive heard a handful of people say there's nothing to it, and some say they would pay someone to do it.
So i guess my only questions are...
How hard is it?
How long is it going to take me?
Do you have any tips that are going to help spare me some time and some anger?
And do you know of a website that has a detailed rundown of what to do?
Thanks!!!!!!!!

installing the Body lift you should be able to do on a sat. in your driveway.
how are you installing 5.29s? are you buying all new 3rd members? or are you just installing the gears in you're current 3rd? if you're going to buy just the gears you'll need to have the gears set up by a professional.

Im just buying the gears.
Ive got a fella who will put them in pretty cheap.
It just got me wondering because ive read some things that say you have to cut the gas filler neck and extend it to fit, and all of that good stuff.
What all is entitled really in a 3 to 4 inch body lift for a 94 toyota?

This is why you don't want to go with anything larger then 3" body lift.

Personally I'd never go larger the 1"
You already have the lift to run 35's, why go taller?

But im probably going to get a 2" or 3" lift for it...
Just because i like ridin high haha.
Im just not entirely sure what im doing yet.

Well from what im being told...
It comes with instructions so installation shouldn't be a problem.
But, i talked to people who had to cut their gas filler neck and extendc it and all of that good stuff and i just didn't like the idea of that lol
I just think the 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift with 35's will look pretty dagum good.
