Definitely x2. Try coupon code "DodgeTalk" (I try to avoid the D word on here). It worked for me awhile ago. Don't know if it still works. Supposed to save you 10%.

Stock motor, buy a decent brand at your local with a lifetime replacement. Wires don't make a noticable hp gain. I only use high end brand name wires if I am running an aftermarket ignition system such as MSD or Mallory. Normal wires work fine with wimpy little, low voltage stock ignitions. It's when you upgrade ignition that you would want better wires.

I didn't want to start a new thread about this as it might be a repost. For those who opted for the OEM plug wires, how much did you guys pay for them? My local Toyota stearlership wanted $120 for a set of plug wires!! 
The NGK premium wire set looks pretty good at a fraction of the cost of the OEM plug wires. The only thing is that aftermarket wires are not as sturdy as OEM wires. My past experience with the aftermarket ones weren't good as they tend to fall apart much easier especially when you try to disconnect the wires from the spark plugs. The OEM plug wires are much stronger than that. And yes, I did pull from the boot instead of pulling from the cable. Has anyone had this issue with aftermarket plug wires?

If you search around at any other Japanese make/model forum, you'll hear the same thing over and over...they equal OEM. I wouldn't be surprised if Sumitomo actually makes them.
