Been looking for an igniter for Damn near 8 months now.. truck won't start, cranks and occasionally backfires. Has fuel pressure and spark comes and goes on the two front cylinders which I believe are one and 2? Problem started in April. Truck would start and run then big out and shut off right around the point it hit operating temp. I thought it was a fuel issue so the whole fuel system minus the fuel lines have been replaced. (Pump, filter, injectors, pressure regulator) after the injectors it just misfired like no one's business and didn't want to run very well. Has all new ignition parts post igniter as well. (Msd blaster coil, ngk plugs, New wires, cap and rotor) Recently found the code 14 for missing igniter signal. Been looking for one since. Found one on rock auto but I'm not trying to pay 300$ for something that I'm not 200% sure is the problem.

Does anyone have one? Or maybe know of a similar part on another Toyota model that could work? Or maybe just advice against my diagnosis. Thanks, Max.

Any salvage yards in the area?

Sometimes you can go there and they will let you test the part out on site before you buy. A multimeter can tell you a lot, too.
