4 cyl. 4Runner question
I'm looking for a second generation 4Runner with the 2.4. Seems they are not that common. With these gas prices I want to stick with the 2.4, besides the fact it is a great engine. I have it in my 1st gen Runner and I'm really happy with it. Anyone who has a 2nd Gen 2.4 Runner, how do you feel about it? and is anything labeled an "SR5" a V6?
Thanks

not all sr5's are v6
i owned a 1990 4 door 4runner sr5 22re 5 speed- had standard seats- ac,cruise, power windows and locks. no chrome package. my opinion at the time was that the 5 speed 22re seemed to be the equal of a v6 automatic in performance. could not at that time find a 5 speed v6.

1995 4Runner 22RE For Sale $3500 Firm!
I have two Green Turtles and love them both $3500.
1995 SR5 22RE 4runner 160K, New Clutch and Timing chain.
Yeah they are slow, but they are machines. They start
everyday and 19.5 MPG no matter what.
