4-5" lift and 31 pics??

Yeah 31's will look tiny. I have them on my stock 95 4runner and they even look small. What type of time frame are you looking at to get everything on? You could just wait and save till you can do it all or the lift and tires.

I always get a good laugh at the guys running 35's and stock gears, especially with the already gutless 22re.
My 22re is healthy, and I personally won't go over 31's with that motor and stock gears. It's awfully slow as is, I can't imagine it being any slower. Not to mention that the larger your tires with stock gears, the faster your crawl will be if using 4-lo at all.

I think the 31s look fine. Do what you gotta do.
I have 35s on my v6 with stock gears. I wouldant want to DD it but for a TR in the making its fine.

Thanks Doors and panels and tailgate are all fibreglass so no rust.
It's a hood scoop off a newer 4runner. I was getting my hood repaired after an accident and they happened to have this damaged hood laying around but the scoop was okay so they grafted it onto my hood since they were repairing it anyways. Cost me about $100

I am going to have to look into that I thought it looked familiar but I couldnt place it. Good score i think it looks very good best hood scoop on an older runner i have seen.

Yup it's a 4" lift, it was only a few months old in that pic, and they were 31x10.5 all terrains. The springs in the rear are new too so no sag on mine. Now it has 35x12.5 and they look right at home!

It looks awesome and alot of scenic driving. I heard its not all to tough of a drive with the occasional hairy spots. Nice work love to see the old pop tops restored to better then new looks!!
