3vz issues
Hey guys i need a little help. I'm workin on a 93 Pickup with the 3VZ w/ a manual tranny in it. I just finished rebuilding the motor and it's not getting fuel.(FYI it wasn't running when I got it)
I called Toyota and they were clueless lol
So the things I've done to dignose-
-check to see if the Fuel Pump worked by putting a straight 12v to it and the pump ran fine.
-Checked to see if the pump was getting 12v via the harness. Which it wasn't its getting .55v
-I chased it the harness back through the harness til I found 12v which brought me to the EFI main relay tested it (relay was fine) I replaced it anyways but still only kicks out .55.
-Looked through the harness for any ground problems some wires and conecters were messed up so we fixed them. Still .55
-Switched out the ECU no change.
Thats where I'm at. Any ideas

Start by jumping B & FP at the diagnostics port.
If the pump comes on with the key, the wiring between the pump and ECU is good. If it doesn't, it's likely the circuit opening relay.
It would also help if we knew which codes the ECU was throwing. To do that, jump E1 & TE1 and turn the key to the 'on' position (engine not running). The check engine light will blink the codes. Codes listed here:

Mines a 22RE, ....but my COR never threw a code when it was ROTTED, then finally went bad completely, .....still no codes, lol. BMcEL is right, the COR is the first thing to check. It's around 45$ through dealerdirectparts.com or others like toyotapartszone.com.... Well, it was when I grabbed mine from O'Reilly's years ago and then checked on line after the fact. (o'reilly's was 40$, lol). Mine was completely corroded from a leak in the windshield(tiny leak) which dripped right onto the COR and seemingly nothing else, lol. I opened it up and it was rotted in there. Replaced it, ...VROOM, not an issue since.
Best wishes, Yotamaster

So the fuel pump did not turn on. Checked the resistance on the the COR which showed bad, put a new COR on and still no go. Jumped the wires for the check engine light no codes where trown out.
If I had hair I would be pulling it out lol

1 - with E1 & TE1 jumped and the key on, did the CEL blink 2 times per second indicating a normal condition?
2 - can you hear the COR clicking on with the key?
Edit - battery voltage also must be greater than 11vdc.
