well... I called up my buddy who has a 4.30 7.5" LSD he said i could get for $25 Btw I measured the rear blocks under my truck, it is lowered 3". I also currently have 215/60/15's on it and I think i am just going to reuse the rims for my 31's.. you can see the picture of them above.

I just need shocks now.

I was thinking..

Pro Comp #917515 - Pro Comp ES9000 Shocks (3-4" lift front)

Pro Comp #921500 - Pro Comp ES9000 Shocks (3-4" lift rear)

i had procomp 3000s on my truck and will never use another procomp product again. the ride was so stiff and crappy that it make the truck unbearable to drive. id personally stick with a softer stock replacement shock because with the front torsions that have to be cranked up its going to be stiffer at it is. for the rear use a stock t100 shock. also dont forget the low profile bump stops for the upper arms. running those will get you a little more lift and travel. something like this http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...p-p-26462.html
ask what Ajones1165 is using on his truck over on toyotanation

I planned on getting the low profile bump stops for sure.

Stock T100 shocks? 4wd or 2wd rear shocks?

well i found the tacoma shocks, and i heard that pre 86 4runner shocks would fit up front..

so you think these are what I should order? I've had good luck with kyb GR-2's on our supras.

KYB #343403 - KYB GR-2 98 t100 4wd rear shocks
KYB #344054 - KYB GR-2 1984/1985 4runner front shocks

Not even if I sell my pickup for 1k, will I be able to buy a tacoma for 2k.. So until I can get some better cash flow there is no reason for me to even think about it. I don't plan on having a taco for another 2 years. But I do want to improve my little truck now. as is it, my tires are rubbing on the fender liners when i turn.. annoying as heck.. when I put my 400lb quad in the back of it i'm running on bump stops. I can't deal with that. So i am wanting to improve it. Not go 4wd. I dont want to mud, or wheel, or rock crawl. Does that make any sense? lol.

Btw, the way i feel.. me and my bro already have a few mk2 LSD's laying around, and so do our friends. I can peice together a 4.10 ring and pinion with an LSD no problem. I do know its spring under axle, but i mean.. 2-3" body lift, shackles, aal.. Wouldn't that fit larger tires? And for anyone else to say "search".. I just got done spending 7 hours searching every thread under body lifts, 2wd lifts, etc on toyotanation and yotatech. I only see one or two people with 31" tires, and only one of those has a body lift but uses chevy springs under the rear.
So what your saying is your going to blow a bunch of money on your 2wd, so that you can save up for a taco. Why the hell wouldnt you just set it to stock height, and drive it LIKE THAT. And spend the lift money looking for a job

You can see in my sig my truck is very similar to what you are most likely looking for aside from the 31" Tires. I would suggest keeping it simple and taking a little bit from what everyone is saying.

I can turn my 30x9.5 Goodyear Mudders pretty decently with stock gearing. The 3" BL keeps them from rubbing (as long as your shocks aren't blown). Add a Locker in the rear and you are good!

For comparison, my mudders measured ~30.7" tall. With very little work you can have that tire size you want and get where you want to.

No Aftermarket arms or any SOA conversions necessary and you get a level truck!
My whole point is you can have no rubbing and less work getting a tall 30x9.5 tire.

EDIT: I am using brand new KYB Gas-A-Just shocks in stock application

Here is a pic of my truck with the setup

^^ Thats pretty awesome dude! Your post made me happy.

I got a killer deal on the arms and torsions, and i've already ordered the shackles and 2" body lift. I'll get 2wd t100 rear kyb's.

BUT..

what about the front? Will stock 2wd pickup shocks be fine for UCA's and torsions?

if i remember right, stock length front shocks should work because your not changing the shock mounting points, if that makes any sense. your basically just drooping out the suspension and keeping it there.
