Rear end chirps under braking
84 ext cab pickup "Barney"
lifted, 35s, high steer, rear lspv removed
Just started "chirping" literally I though a bird had flown in the window or something. It is coming from the rear end, sounds like the rear shoes is my best guess, worn out or sticking.
Only does it during braking but seems to continue after you let off the brakes for a few seconds.
Rear brake job and worn our rear shoes?
Just started this tonight after Sparky drove it.

i was reading through a shop manual the other day because i was having my share of issues to and this can happen if you have a leak in the system, i dont remmember if it involves the front or rear , but because of the fluid flow and pressure, it can make the brakes stick or lock a little, also if you bend a line an the fluid isnt returning properly
on one of my trucks i had a messed up bleeder in front and it would make the rear end lock up pretty good, so id go under your rig with a flash light,
also if its lifted , did you extend the brake lines, because streching stock doesnt end up good
