So I rebuilt the front axle, had to put new knuckles on it, new wheel bearings, drivers side went back together fine, passenger side knuckle went together, installing spindle and every time I seat it in the knuckle the axle cocks downward in the spindle, have taken it off several times and inspected and can't find any reason why it'd be doin this, any feedback would be great

Got any pics? Does the spindle seat fully into the knuckle? The brass/bronze locating bushing in the spindle is good?

Does the axle sit normal before you put on the spindle?

Almost sounds like the birf isn't seated all the way together at the joint or not fully in the knuckle thus when you put the spindle on it is binding.

sorry i didnt get back so soon, went out of town for the holiday, i figured out what had happened, the lower knuckle cap had been shimmed inproperly, reshimed it and now its perfect, thanks
