85 EFI to Carb conversion-Harness issues
hey yall i need some assistance i have a 84 carbed pickup i took the engine out and put it in a 85 efi 4 runner after many hours of frustration getting the efi to work i said screw it and went back to carb i put a weber 32/36 on it runs grrreeeat. since the carb is now in the efi runner i want to clean up all the un needed stuff in the engine compartment and get my water temp gauge/fuel gauge working, is it possible to get the harness out of the 84 p/u (i have everything) and get it into the runner
yes i have searched but could not find anything to help out to amount to anything

The fuel tank float unit should be the same it think? Maybe not, EFI has the pump IN the tank and carb has a mech on the motor.. so maybe how they measure fuel capacity IS different?
but to answer your q yea u can swap harness's, have fun tho, thats a lot of work
what was wrong with the EFI?

i got all the fuel delivery stuff figured out, if i decide to keep my harness cant i just modify the efi sensor to work with the sensor on the carb intake and get rid of all the crap cluttering it up under the hood
also my freaking fuel gauge aint working only got about .50 volts at the sender plug
