1993 pickup AC port question?

Hi every one. I have a 1993 extra cab pickup that has not been converted to R134.

I, for the life of me cannot figure out the size of the adapter I need for my AC gauges. The high side fits fine. Both gauge sets I’ve tried are too large for low side port. I have used a new gauge set from Robinair that is specified for R12.

I have also used a vintage set of R12 gauges from the 80s and again the low side hose is too large to fit on the low side port.

does anyone know the proper size adapter I need to order for gauges to fit on the low side? I had heard something about a GM adapter but couldn’t verify anything.

Assuming it's the same as my 86, I cheated by adapting the R12 fittings to R134A. I bought a kit that had 3-4 adapters and found whichever one fit so sadly don't know the exact details of it. Pretty sure I grabbed the adapter at a parts store or off ebay. With the adapter, you should be able to use R134a gauges.

Sounds like someone installed a different AC line or fitting at one Time causing you all kinds of fun.

Can you take pictures and get some measurements.

I never had that problem yet the R12 to R134a adapters always worked in my case.

No other Low Side fittings that might be covered ?
