IFS Steering Box in 1st Gen
Has anyone put an IFS power steering box in a first gen without a lift and aftermarket 'highsteer' ? I have a supper clean '82 4x4 that I'm trying to leave as stock as possible. The push/pull was a poor design and I'd like the drivability of a more positive steering feel.

When I get the opportunity I'm going to drive my '82 over to 4x4 Labs in Grass Valley, CA to let Luke check it out and see what can be fabricated to allow the stock suspension. Worst case for me would be the 3" lift then 'highsteer'.

I did a custom cross over steering in my 81 when it was stock and then was able to still use it after I lifted it
