I had luck, but I had to modify the flange yoke. The diameter of the pin was not as advertised, so reducing the diameter a mm or two was easier than not having it at all. My old pin was too worn down from driving without needle bearings in the ball joint.

The rubber seal with the ball joint thinging also wasn't the best fit.

I had a really major ordeal just finding the driveshaft stuff. I mean, it is a pretty common (?) and important part. I was able to find a lot of the later driveshafts, just not early ones. They were all under $75 each for a good one. In retrospect it would have been easier and cheaper to just swap flanges and pay the $50-75 for shortening a later driveshaft. (who needs to pay extra for rebalencing an 18.5" front shaft).

I want to swap to a normal u-joint and get rid of the cv style, but the crossmember won't allow that. I've just been running with the clicking driveshaft for now. It's getting annoying though, so i'm gonna have to do something. The lifetime warrenty parts from autozone sound good since they'll replace them if it breaks. I'll update this when I get it worked out.
