Looks like you've got some funky blocks going on with the rear too... any better shots of that?

If it's square tubing, you may be in for some trouble

that part in the axle housing. do i need it, whats it do?
i accidently put the diff in w/o it and waas wondering if i had to take the diff back out

Not that there's anything necessarily "wrong" with it, just that if you are going to go with blocks (key part there being the word: blocks) you would figure that It would be done with a... block?

Not to be ragging on you at all, I know you bought it the way that it is, and it's very good to see you turning it around.

I would.

Blocks are okay, but they promote axle wrap, often shoot out, or even break. Square tubing will not be as strong as a block, and honestly I wouldn't use it (square tubing) unless it was on a trail only rig.

Lift springs are the best way to go.

hey bro, truck looks great, im stationed here at fort lewis, wa myself, send me a message sometime, interested in some new places to offroad, mostly been playin around off exit 116 old nisqually, off mounts rd.. cops arent having it anymore though, heard about a place called Elby hills offroad park, been there?

sorry, i havent kept u guys updated in a while.
the rear end is done. the tires are back on and the bed is on.
i drove it around a lil bit the other day
all i have left to do is wire it mostly
everything else is just paint and fun things like a locker and a radio ext.

rear end is done and painted! frame is painted

close up on brakes

beds still off, frames painted, wheels painted

beds back on!

sanding off that roll on bedliner took forever!! sucky job

done with paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! aint she purdy?

i need to mount and wire front turn signals, bolt in the seat, get a seat belt, get a rear tail light lens, and get a windshield and ill be drivin her on the road!, that dont mean im done though, i got lots of plans after that.

yeah thanks, ive had tons of fun with this project so far and ive learned a ton. tryin to do everything right, i know stock gears with 36" tires are no good but ill fix that when i get to it

some times i think i should be a photographer, that my sisters dog, its half pitbull. can you believe she named it mango?



dad mounted the turn signals cause hes the one that can weld. TEACH ME HOW TO WELD DAD!!!!!!!!!!
