1995 4Runner V6, Manual, Locked, Armored

I have finally decided to part with my 2nd gen 4Runner. Bought a 3rd gen recently and well, it’s just time to move on.

Truck is a 1995 Toyota 4Runner SR5 3.0 V6 and 5-Speed manual transmission. It has 252k miles on it but the engine and transmission were replaced about 70k miles ago. Obviously a new oem clutch was installed in the process and the timing belt and water pump were replaced. The engine currently needs valve cover gaskets something fierce. And the ABS light is on becasue it needs a rear axle speed sensor.

Suspension was installed 2k miles ago. OME 2.5” lift, OME soft ride shocks with heavy duty rear springs, +400LBS load I think. Downy Torsion bars. All 4 ball joints and all 4 sway bar end links were replaced with the lift install.

The front brakes were completely rebuilt 5k miles ago. Front hubs were completely re-greased, new OEM brake calipers, OEM rotors and pads. Brake fluid completely flushed at this time as well. Rear axle has a stainless braided line.

The front differential is geared 4.88 with a Detroit Trutrac locker. The rear differential has an ARB air locker BUT is geared 5.29. The truck needs to be re-geared in the front or rear because of this. I’ve carefully used 4wd a couple of times like this at sub 5mph but it NEEDS to be fixed.

ARB front bumper, rear bumper is a Trail Gear tube bumper that's bent down from my boss's boat. Wont try that one again. Also has welded on Trail Gear rock sliders. Sliders and rear bumper have been coated in POR-15. The entire frame has been coated in POR-15 many times. This frame is completely RUST FREE, extremely solid. The body does, however, have some rust bubbles above the rear fender wells.

Interior is very good shape except for driver seat bottom bolster and a couple cracks on the dashboard. Everything works including ice cold A/C. Has a relatively new stereo and is wired for an amplifier and sub but I never had one in it. The rear hatch window glass is disconnected from the regulator on the driver side. I put on a steering wheel from a MK3 Supra, all the cruise control buttons still work. I have the original steering wheel as well.

I bought this truck from the second owner who had put 200k on it. He cried when he sold it even knowing it was going to an enthusiast. I really hope I can pass this great truck on to a fellow Toyota guy who will put it to good use!

I was asking $6500 locally but may have been too ambitious with the small tires. Asking $5500 OR best offer. Located in Pasadena, MD.
