Ok, not really sure what this is worth but I'm finally parting ways with my 1987 pickup. It's a 1987 2WD 5 speed in what I'd call fair shape. Body-wise there isn't really much rust, it sat under a carport for a lot of years so the front and rear bumper were the only thing to see and rust at all up until about 4-5 years ago.

The good:

• 65,000 original miles. It had always been a casual driver and in our family, I'm the 3rd owner
• Body in great shape
• Installed a hitch receiver on it last summer.
• Runs great.

The bad:

• No catalytic converter - the end of the converter broke last year so I just replaced it with a straight pipe.
• Passenger mirror broke off, I still have the mirror but the mount is broke.
• No rear bumper - it rusted pretty bad so I cut it off completely.
• The hanger for the emergency cable broke a few weeks ago. I tied it up so the cable wouldn't drag, but it needs a new hanger and won't work until it's replaced.

Sorry, I guess I forgot to take this down. I told my son he could have the truck, although he's never actually arranged to do a title transfer, etc. so it's still sitting in my driveway.
