AWE Tuning Releases Dual Cat-Back Toyota Tacoma Exhaust

The 0FG exhaust system from AWE Tuning sounds boss. Plus, it’s a bolt-on setup guaranteed not to throw a CEL.

Pennsylvania-based AWE Tuning has been in business for three decades. Over the years, its performance-minded team has developed intakes, exhausts, and intercoolers for everything from Porsches, to McLarens, to Jeeps. Now, the company has just released a new 0FG exhaust for the third-generation Tacoma, and it looks — not to mention sounds — like a sweet bit of kit.

Like all the other performance components AWE sells, the dual cat-back system is built completely in-house at its 33,000-square-foot facility. It’s also constructed from mandrel-bent 2.5-inch stainless steel, and designed to accommodate both 32-inch spare tires, along with aftermarket leaf springs. So if you’ve already made those upgrades to your rig, the 0FG system will still work.

Thanks to the setup’s custom H-pipe and straight-through design, it’s sure to wake up the sound of any stock Tacoma. Just take a listen to the truck in the video below! Fortunately, the company’s patented 180 Technology drone-canceling system means long trips on the highway won’t drive you bonkers either.

To ensure it doesn’t get damaged when you’re out on the trail, the company’s bespoke modular BashGuards ship with every kit, as do wheelbase extension bits. So you’re covered however you’ve configured your truck. Buyers can also select to have the 4.5-inch exhaust tips finished in either chrome or black.

Other touches, like the bolt-on design and factory-matched inlet flanges, mean installation should be a snap.
