Toyota Cressida Wagons The Next Big Thing

Ex-fashion designer and car collector Magnus Walker enjoys Los Angeles in a pair of Toyota Cressida Wagons as well as an ’80s Mercedes Wagon!

I know we mostly focus on Toyota trucks here at YotaTech, but we’ve got a fun video for you today over on YouTube. Ex-fashion designer and car collector Magnus Walker has a new video series with Hagerty called The Next Big Thing where, each episode, Walker explains non-obvious future classics and collector cars. This week it’s the long lost station wagon, which is where these Toyota Cressida wagons step in.

Walker actually tours and drives three wagons in the video, a 1980s Mercedes 300D, a 1978 MX36 Cressida, and a 1986 “Mark II” Cressida. For those who want to skip the Benz parts, the Cressida half of the video begins at 7 minutes and 43 seconds. Here, the two owners talk about classic Japanese car culture as well as manually swapping their Cressida wagons.

If you love classic Toyotas or station wagons in general, this is a fun watch. Enjoy!
