1970 Land Cruiser: Ultimate Off-Road Fantasy Vehicle!

1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

Modified to tackle any terrain, this FJ is ready to go, and it won’t break the bank!

There’s still nothing on the market that can compete with the early Land Cruisers. The classic look of the off-roading vehicle stands the test of time like no other. This is exactly what caught our eye when we recently stumbled upon a listing for a 1970 Land Cruiser FJ over at Classic Cars.

Take a look at the red FJ in the pictures. It’s painted an awesome red and looks like a military vehicle on steroids! This isn’t a standard FJ, however. The previous owner has put in a modified Chevy 350 V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission with under 50,000 on the odometer. That gives the older vehicle plenty of power and off-roading capability. Also added to the vehicle is a custom 6-inch lift, Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar tires, new hedlamps, new weather stripping, a Warn 8274 winch, and last but certainly not least, power steering and brakes. All in all, this is a great deal at $29,600.

So, for those looking for a FJ that runs well but won’t break the bank, this might be for you. And for those enthusiasts out there looking for a well-maintained FJ that you can customize yourself, this would be a great vehicle to build on top of. No matter who you are, this is the type of toy that an off-road enthusiast will definitely want to check out.
