    I'm not sure to be honest, the truck had been in a wreck by the p.o. and i think the whole truck got painted.

    Good place to start would be a wrecking yard. They normally give you a warranty on it. Also research some local shops, some import low mile jap engines for a good price, also you might have a Toyota specific shop near you
