Anybody know the diffrence between ECM 89661-3D020 and 89661-3D030. I replaced my 95 4runner with the 3D030 and my problem went away but check engine light code 27 came appeared. My runner is not equiped with a sub heated oxygen sensor. I'm not sure if the ECM I used came from a California car because i got it from a junk yard here in Hawaii. Any help in this will surely be appreciated. Aloha!

Problem was a bad igniter.

Hi new to yotatech! I just finished a top end rebuild on my 95 4runner 3vze due to a blown headgasket 239,823 miles. Everything went smooth with re-installation following FSM and this forum got it fired up and idles like an old champ. After bout driving for about 2 miles rpm starts going up and down car starts losing power and surging like im pressing and releasing the gas pedal. Stoped it on the side of the road for 10 min and worked fine until about 2 miles it start doing the same thing. WTF! jumpered daig and got a code 14 has anybody had a similair problem?
