I would suggest you have a short in your wiring harness

i have a 1980 toyota 2.2 ltr 20r i recently rebuilt it its got a new head to. Before it was rebuilt the battery got so hot one time the caps blew off so i had to get a new batterry. After it was rebuilt its doing the same thing the flashers are sticking like they was and i have no tail lights, just like before. I really havnt run it long enough to know if the batteries gonna get hot. Its got new reg, alt been checked and is good. New battery, good grounds can you troubleshoot me any possibilities on how to correct problem i need tran to work thanks mark.
