1987 4 Runner. Runs great. When out of the blue it dies. No sputtering, just dies.
lights come on and won't start. Let it sit for 30 min then it starts right up no problems.
Usually happens after going up hills or when hot. Took it into a mechanic. they said ignitor/ coil which I replaced. same issue. fuel pump works, fuel filter replaced ?????
maybe ecu?
