    i have seen your post from a couple of months ago that you have a w56 trans in an 80 pick up? that is not stock is it? i have been searching for a couple of months now and belive that year only came with L43 trans. what mods had to be done to make it fit? i am in need of simular mod for my 79 short bed truck as the countershaft in my L43 has had a bearing go bad and i am having trouble finding parts to replace it and want 5 speed anyways. please let me know
