Lumpy

I just checked my receipt from when i bought it 2 years ago and it looks like I have "geek squad" something that expires 8-15-2010, so maybe I could just call BEST BUY and see what they can do since I paid for it.

ok.I messed around and found that when I searched "MY COMPUTER" and "JPG" I can see my pictures there, so I guess they are still on the hard drive. But my profile won't load correctly, it says to check the 'event log" and I have no clue what I am looking at there. And why won't it restore to a point where everything was good. Aggravating. I worked a ton of hours in the last 4 days (like 50), (friggin' flu has everybody nutsy) and was looking forward to putzing today.
Another thing, when I searched my hard drive for "everio" which is the name of my video camera, i came up with no videos....arrrgh!

As a "geek" ,HELP ME.

I was on my laptop last night and my son needed help with homework, so I closed the laptop.When I opened it back up the screen did not come back on even though the power button was lighted. So I held the power button in to make it shut down and restart and when it did, it did not load my user profile right and came up with a very generic screen like as if i was using this user profile for the 1st time. So I did a system restore and it said,when it was finished, that it 'encountered an unspecified error" and did not load properly. When I switch users , I can't find any of my pictures, so I went back to wht was to be MY profile (now a generic one) and did what I thought I could do to search the hard drive for pictures and I can't find anything but samples.

I don't expect you to fix it from there, but I just want you to say they must be on my hard drive somewhere and a good "geek" will be able to find them.

This is truly disaterous.

I don't know...They just blew it. They had that game in the first quarter and they all fell apart. It was like they just gave up...

What the **** about those Steelers........I'm glad I was at work and did't see it. I was pi**ed off enough with Penn State suckin' it up Sturday night when I was trying to sleep. Watchng the Cowboys now. Off Tues / Weds / Thurs...gonna see if I could find me a chain wrench.

where the h*ll are ya?.....just kidding....i'm stuck at the crankshaft bolt.waiting for Tuesday to get a chain wrench and a pulley puler.

actually have to get dressed NOW to go running around and then to our High School's football game...got somewhere to be for 445 and then the game at 645.

yeah i know.....just feel like it's such a mess and i feel so unqualified.
