Hey...read ur post on the r151 rebuild. It really helped me out a lot. I just did a r151 install and could not have done it without your help. Had some questions about a few things though...you still around?

Hey man, sorry I didn't check back here for awhile. Been busy with the '83 and this gal I got set up on a blind date with...and work of course. I dunno where I'm goin for the off-season yet this year, especially since it's only for a couple months. Last few seasons it's been Portland, and this year I'll be up there sometime, gotta work on my '69 Ford so it's at least mobile at my parent's house. On what I see you're planning, the fj80 axle is a good bit wider than your ifs stuff, so if I was you I'd go with a mini axle. I'd say you could buy the one I got for cheap, but it needs some work. And you'd have to wait til I get laid off and get back up there, which will be mid-November, I think.

I dont know if the fj80 axle is worth it. It would just be one of those things like, hey look he's got an fj axle under there. Ya know. So i think a mini axle would do just fine and probably cheaper to build and fix. Ima check out those video links whats yer name on marlin mines swapped89 lol

my biggest problem is that i don't know if a high pinnion fj80 axle is better than a mini axle. for 200 bones that could go towards longifelds and be stronger. so im stuck there. and then also stuck with just getting a set of 5.29. i like the axle and i could do it but for the winter i dont need it. f word, i dunno.
