Hi saw your post about replacing your speedometer cable. I'm looking at doing the same or trying to use lithium grease. I took apart the dash and removed the combination meter to expose the cable end. I tracked the cable down through the floor body frame to the underside. I've tried following it around over the transmission but I can't see or feel where it goes or how to disconnect it. Am I going about this right? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
