I sold my 4runner several years ago, but if I remember correctly, the output during rain/foggy conditions was not the best. To be honest, I would just save the cash and stick with the stock lights. I always found myself turning on my Hella's to augment my headlights whenever I could.
Have you considered a HID retrofit?
