Hey there I am brand new to the Toyota world. I have recently purchased a stock 1993 4runner and plan on doing some modifications. A friend of mine has offered a 9 inch ford rear end but we are uncertain of what year ford it came off of. I realize the ford 9 inch is known for strength but the question is should I take the free axle or does it take to much modifying to be worth the swap. Also keep in mind I am not planning on spending an arm and a leg on the runner.
