Hey guys, update on my 87 4Runner issues with it not starting. Back story, couple weeks ago, went to work, at lunch went to leave, wouldn’t start, just cranking over. Had to tow home. Battery check, bad, bought new, no start, new plugs, started right up. Now, starts right up, but idiot lights stay on for a couple of start ups/ shut offs, then lights go off and still starts up fine. Can’t trust to take to work and start up to come home. So my question is, what could my issue be with the battery, brake,a/t oil temp lights staying on for a bit then off and ideling fine.

does a jumper wire need to be used for an accurate timing on my 87 22RE, and would the smog station know to do that also!
