Yeah UT2004 would be great! I've upped the bots to 10. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good game!

Great game gents!
Two times though none of my weapons would fire ammo, and I could not chat.
I had to exit the server and rejoin, and loose all of my points
I do not know what was going on.

Time went by quick, we played for 1 hour 50 minutes.

I do not think there was any lag, at least I was not experiencing any.
Anyone getting any lag?

Chris, was it a lot better than me hosting?
Danny's setup is 15 mb up and down I think, while mine is only 3 mb down.

We gotta do this again.
Lot of fun, and the sub was shakin' the place with the percussion of the weapons and explosions.
I am sure my neighbors liked that

Danny, I liked that last map, and the sniper room I was in.
Great place to plant headshots as you and Ray came by.

Yeah, good game. Told you guys danny is good. Nine times out of 10 whenever we would have a shoot out, he would win.

I only wish bob was on the other team so I could shoot him!

I had lots of fun! We'll have to do this again. Did you guys experience any lag? I'll try to get my hands on the new UT, but I need to check out what the server specs call for. Anyhow, great game guys! Red only one once

3rd person view

Danny, that would be great if you could get 2004.

Here is a way to enable 3rd person view of your player if you want to.
Open up your user.ini file and use the "find" feature to look for:
z=

There are a few of them, but you are looking for one that is blank, and below some other letters.
Paste this code in below where the letters end:

letter=behindview 1
letter=behindview 0

Replace "letter" with the letter of your choice, but not one that is already above.
If you want to use one of the blank letters with no command already present, then just input the code after the = sign.
z & x are already there, so you could use them.

1 turns on 3rd person view so you can see yourself, and 0 turns it off.
I set up o & p on mine, as they are easy to get to with my left pinky.

I may be up for next Friday night, but Saturday night I will more than likely be watching I, Robot.
It comes out this week.

PS, for those who have never played this almost 5 year old game, a guy on an Unreal forum made a movie of his playing.

The large AVI is best, and plays well full screen.
I would right click and save the file if you intend on viewing it.

I'll try to get my hands on UT2004. Maybe we can play again next weekend or so. I'll have the server up during the week, but only after 6PM CST. I'll turn on Instagib next time.

I remember at one point I had UT loaded on another machine a while back ago and I downloaded some mod that gave me military weapons (AK47, M16, etc) But I don't remember what it was. Do you have any ideas? Personally I liked playing with the real weapons better.

That movie was awesome. Reminded me of how much fun I used to have with that game. Maybe over the holidays I'll have time to load it back on my PC and join you guys.

You should Chris.
The action last night was very much like that movie.

I liked the last map I was in.
I would keep going outside and getting sniped.
It dawned on me Data was up in a bunker on their side sniping me with a sniper rifle and scope.

Our side of the bass had a bunker like it too, and I hung out there for the remainder of the game sniping Data and Ray.

I think I will try and play Friday night this time.
Reason is I have a date with Will Smith Saturday evening

And for those who do not yet own UT 2004, go get the demo and compare the graphics of it to the good old UT.
We gotta get an '04 match going sometime.

Can you multiplay the 2004 demo? If so, we could do that sometime, just play one level or something.

Is anything going on tonight?
